June the 7th 1964. Bologna
followed with the suspended breath the playoff against Inter. The match will
decide the 1963-1964 Italian tournament. It was the Bologna team with Haller, Bulgarelli
and Perani and to win will not simply represent a sport’s triumph, but will redeem
an entire city, after hard times of negative conjunctures that signed the
history of the team recently. The film travels over again this remarkable day, using
archive footage, unrevealed and unknown documents, and the testimonial of the
eleven men that made it an unforgettable date and their memories in flashback
nowadays, memoirs of whom were witness of an extraordinary event, the day that
defeated Goliath.
